Tesla continues to recruit from Apple’s talent pool with a new report saying that Apple’s Senior Director of Design for Apple’s Mac lineup left the company last month for a role at Tesla as Sr. Director Engineering, Closures & Mechanisms: over the past few years Matt Casebolt was a Design Director of the latest generation MacBook Pro, the newest Mac Pro and and part of the early team that worked on the MacBook Air. Earlier today, reports indicated that Tesla poached one of Apple’s top software experts, Christ Lattner, to serve as an Autopilot executive.
