Cast your eyes over the 12 stunning nominees below – all featured in Classic Ford magazine over the previous year – then head to the bottom of the page to make your selection!

Car A: Mk2 Fiesta

Owner: Dan Thorne

Featured: November 2024

Race-spec ST170, sequential ’box and a colour inspired by a kitchen knife… Dan’s 2024 Great Unveiling reveal is a Mk2 unlike any other.

Car B: Mk5 Escort

Owner: Stephen Gibson

Featured: January 2025

The Monte Carlo is already rare, Gibby’s Cossie even more so. As one of Ford’s prototypes with plenty of unique features, it’s truly unique and jaw-dropping.

Car C: Mk2 Orion

Owner: Michael Gates

Featured: July 2025

Think Orion Equipe, only if Ford’s SVE gurus had put their mark all over it — 2-litre Zetec, OE-style BBS rims and a whole lot more.

Car D: Mk2 Escort Van

Owner: Greg Caton

Featured: September 2025

Mk2 vans shouldn’t look this good, or go this well for that matter, but Greg of G-Cat Racing’s Escort is a BDG-powered beauty.

Car E: Mk5 Cortina

Owner: Tony Taylor

Featured: June 2025

The Mk4 wings and Peugeot steels keep you guessing, while the specced ST170 and superb interior keep you coming back for more of this restomod Mk5.

Car F: Mk2 Escort

Owner: Tony Stacey

Featured: November 2024

If Tony could save all the Mexicos he would, and his latest Great Unveiling, restored by Panelcraft, has resulted in one of the best.

Car G: Mk2 Capri

Owner: Andrew Sygrove

Featured: January 2025

Andrew had no intention of restoring a Capri, but all that changed after taking on this mega-rare 1977 1.6L.

Car H: Mk2 Granada

Owner: Mark Lane

Featured: November 2024

Known as the ‘2JZ Granada’ Mark’s Mk2 has racked up a whole host of awards since it first broke cover at the Great Unveiling.

Car I: Mk1 Escort

Owner: Dave Simms

Featured: July 2025

The first cover car when this mag launched back in 1997, Dave’s spent decades returning it to its factory fresh glory in stunning Electric Monza Blue.

Car J: Mk3 Fiesta

Owner: Scott Shepherd, Rob Ransom

Featured: Spring 2025

It may have started out as a base model, but thanks to a clever, subtle injection of power this Mk3 has become the perfect sleeper.

Car K: Mk1 Escort

Owner: Mike Wilson

Featured: November 2024

The ultimate built-not-bought Mk1 Escort? Thanks to a homebrewed 2.5-litre Duratec, total shell rebuild and unique tweaks, Mike’s Great Unveiling Mk1 surely is.

Car L: Mk3 Fiesta

Owner: Andrew Arminger

Featured: March 2025

The classic RS Turbo, only updated for the 2020s. Andrew’s longterm project is a lesson in sticking with one classic Ford and steadily making it better.
