Daimler to build electric cars in China

Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler will build electric cars in China with industrial partner BAIC.  The German group also purchased a stake in Beijing Electric Vehicle Co., one of BAIC’s subsidiary.  Additional details such as when production will start and which cars will be produced haven’t been announced yet.
